Where my daughter lives in England is fairly close to a large park. This really comes in handy because they have a dog and go out almost every day. Earlier this year when we were out walking, I noticed that the bridges we crossed had names.
Stone Lock Bridge
Sharpe's Bridge
Barden Bridge
Stone Lock Bridge
Friendship Bridge
There were others but I didn't have my camera at the time.
This is lovely, and I wonder if the names are registered/ The one I like most is Friendship .that spreads across the little stream and across the world too.

ReplyDeletea Christian college I attended had a section of the sidewalk with a sign that read Friendship Walk. I liked that too!
