I don't know about any of you but there are some things that I have made that I have forgotten about. This, however, is not one of them.
A parrot for Patric.
Hallowe'en in B.C. Since they live in the interior and there are no other little ones around, the goodies are left out for whatever goblins show up while they are out trick or treating around the area.
I am amazed that I made it. I don't know where it is now. It could probably be used by cousins if it ever shows up.
This was a pattern that I purchased from a now closed quilt shop in Moose Jaw. The mitt resides in B.C. now. I liked it because it could take the place of a stocking. Years later, my friend Judy made me one.
I'm sure that there are other things that I have made through the years but I haven't come across photos. It's nice to see the things that I have made.
I imagine that parrot costume is till in someone's tickle trunk somewhere. My kids loved the cheap after-Halloween outfits that I sometimes bought at the thrift store and played dress up a lot.
ReplyDeleteTalking about projects we may have forgotten about making, sometimes I go back through my old posts on my blog and I'm always surprised at just how much I've forgotten.
The parrot outfit looks great! Maybe it is worn by a pirate's parrot now. - There must be lots of projects I don't remember any more, but sometimes leftover scraps of fabric bring up a memory.
