It has begun. My kitchen is being demolished.
The white wall had tall cupboards.
There's lots of light coming in.
My children didn't like my desk and thought it was just a catch-all. I always thought it could have been used to do homework but it never was.
The peninsula is gone (but it will come back.) The microwave will be moved. It was always in an awkward spot. There will be less cupboards.
Sounds divine although I don't envy you coping with no kitchen during the transformation. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
ReplyDeleteI have a 'bar sink' downstairs and so, with my microwave, I'm fine. There was always a second fridge down there and when we renovated the basement a few years ago, a sink and counter were put in so I am fine. Besides, three of my children live very close and may invite me over for dinner the odd time.
DeleteHow exciting--renovations are always great once they are finished. Hope you like the final results...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is big and light, and I'm sure it will be wonderful after the renovation.
