This is the centre.
The left side.
A close-up of the centre. I mark as I go and decide on the spot how I want to quilt each of the coloured parts.
Here's the right side. Once this block is done, I can put in a couple of turns.
On the knitting front, I finished the hat I was working on and made another one.
I love the colours in this one.
The colours are equally nice in this one. I made this a tad bigger.
Two hats for two little girls made with washable wool.
I'm linking up with The Needle and Thread Network. Stop on by to see what other Canadians are up to this week.
Thanks for showing your progress and process. It is hat wearing season! So cute! https://pegsplace.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteThe hats are adorable and will be cherished. Your quilting looks great. The quilt will be a showstopper.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt looks so good!!!! Pattern and colors are perfect :)
ReplyDeleteI like the quilt you are working on a lot (and read back to find a picture of the whole thing). The colours are really vibrant. I can't knit to save my life, but love a good woolly hat.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Dolores, as always! xx
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is stunning! I know I could never be that precise. Lovely cosy hats too.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is looking so good - I've been quilting and my finger is SO SORE, does that ever happen to you? The finger that I pull the needle through with. Of course I don't use a frame - just sit with it in my lap - so basically I'm doing a running stitch. Maybe that makes a difference, I don't know. Love the hats, so soft and pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteThe colours in that quilt are so bright and cheerful so that must make it even nicer to work on during these dull days of winter.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilting Delores and I adore your little knitted hats. Talented lady!
