A little red bird

Every once in a while it's nice to make something small.

I have liked this little quilt pattern for a while now.

I fused and sewed down all the appliques and decided that I would do what I have done years ago regarding binding. I used the backing as the binding too.

Here's a close-up of one corner of the quilt. The batting was trimmed to the edge of the top.

I trimmed the backing to about three quarters of an inch and then I just folded it over.

Here's the finished little quilt. I machine quilt little quilts like these.
