More

Ok, this is it ...

the last, for now, of the little doll quilts. I really need to get my own stuff done.

This is as far as the little matinee jacket has gotten. The back and two sleeves. As you can see from the back, there is a lot of white in between the colours and since I wanted to make the sleeves both at the same time, I didn't want to waste (cut off) yarn to get them to the right colours. I don't think the little one will mind.

I'm linking up with the Needle and Thread Network. Drop in and check it out.

  2. So many little girls are going to be very happy with those, and tiny quilts, I think, are a lot harder to sew. Lovely knitting, great for a winter's evening. Cheers from jean

  5. I loved the little sweaters that I had for my daughter when she was small. You don't see them much on babies beening born now.
And how come little projects can take so long? I do love the doll quilts.

  6. The difference in the sleeves will add character! Well, it will make the sweater interesting anyway. Hope you show it when it's done.

  10. Lovely little quilts! As for the "mismatched" sweater sleeves, not only will the baby not mind, but it will be a unique hand made item, not to be mistaken for something from a boutique (sweater and baby both). ;-)
