Lindsay Creative Quilters quilt show - Part two

More quilty goodness. Grab a cup of your favourite beverage and enjoy!

Cute pattern with a fun border.

Just in case you missed it from the last quilt show.

You have to read the write up on this. What a nice way to remember your ancestors.

Rose of Sharon - an old pattern but I've never seen it done is such dark colours. Very nicely hand quilted.

This looks likes windows looking onto Asian fabrics.

The black just sets off the colours.

More black - but just a bit. You can see how the longer quilts were hung. There was an extra bar across and the quilts were folded over. It's a great way to see the whole quilt since what usually happens is that the bottom gets pinned up to the back. I like this way of hanging.

 Nice title.

Not your typical African inspired quilt.

A close-up.

There were a few quilts done in this pattern.

You can see what a difference the colour of the fabric makes in a quilt.

I do like this pattern.

Gentle curves. A whole lot of blocks.

Soft colours. It's a wonderful bed quilt.

I wonder how long it took to make all these blocks.

Ah, she didn't do it all by herself.

I''ll leave you today with another duo.  This white one (I really, really like it.)

And this turquoise one. My all-time favourite colour.

Come back tomorrow for the last of the show.

  3. I'm so happy you are doing this ... now I get to click on and read the 'story' behind the quilts I saw. I simply didn't have time at the show to do so because my friend tires easily and we wanted to see as many quilts as we could.
