One BOM

In addition to trying to keep up with Caroline's Monthly Minis on Sew Can She blog, I am also trying to do the Sun, Sand and Sea BOM (block of the month) on Sew Incredibly Crazy and Friends blog.

I missed making the April one but here's the May installment. I'll catch up with April when I have more time. It has four blocks of fusible applique whereas this one only had one.

It's not like the pattern in colouring at all but I love my fabrics. I took the photo at night so the light blue background fabric doesn't show up all that well.

There are a few other things that have been started but not yet finished. Once they have been completed, I'll post a photo.

Have a great weekend.

  1. Variety is best, at least for me, but finishing the freefall leaf blocks is #1 priority right now.Love the seaside motifs , this is a neat idea for applique themes.

  7. Love the theme of this one - and the pail & shovel are really cute. I imagine a grandchild might just be happy to get this one someday!
