In advance of their biggest sale of the year, which is happening on one day only, September 17th, I have been asked by Carol, of Sew Sisters Quilt Shop, to host a giveaway.
Sew Sisters Quilt Shop is a Canadian quilt store
that celebrates all things quilting. They have a large selection of
fabric, notions, books, patterns and kits. Whether you’re shopping
online at sew-sisters.com,
or in the store in Toronto, you will receive the best in products and
service. At Sew Sisters they believe you should Buy Fabric, Not Postage! and so they have the most reasonable rates on shipping in Canada. Visit their website
to find out more!
This giveaway is open from now until midnight Friday, September 13th EST (Eastern Standard Time.) I will draw a name on Saturday and this giveaway is open to everyone. They will ship internationally. Please just one comment per person and let me know what your plans would be for the fabric if you were to win OR just tell me what you are working on at the moment.
NOTE: if you are on Wordpress or Google + or Typepad, you may come up as a 'no reply' commenter so PLEASE leave your email with your comment. If in doubt, please leave your email address. I would hate to have to pick another winner if the first one is a 'no reply' and I have no means of contacting you.
Good luck to you all.

What a nice giveaway and lucky you to host it. I think I would use the fabric mixed with other lines because they look like nice blenders. I'm sure I could put it to good use. Thank you, Sew Sisters.
ReplyDeleteHi Dolores. What gorgeous fabricss. These would fit in perfectly with my scrappy quilting. Thanks for the chance to win and have fun.

What a great giveaway. I too, love Sew Sisters. I used to be on their list to receive 10 fat quarters every month or so - I stayed on it waaay to long, because I loved getting them in the mail. I still have stacks of fat quarters in my sewing room, waiting for some quilt inspiration. But don't get me wrong. I would love to win some more!
ReplyDeleteWow...that a lovely giveaway. I'm a frequent customer of Sew Sisters as it's very close to where I live. Always a great selection of fabrics. I'm not working on anything at the moment but a fabric giveaway is very hard to resist. Maybe I could use them on a doll :)
ReplyDeleteI accidentally deleted my previous comment when trying to add my email address.

I love Sew Sisters and these fabrics look terrific! I think they will make good blenders for a scrap quilt along with the rest of my stash. You know me, I am always working on several things at the same time and now is no different. It is very kind of you to host this. And very generous of Sew Sisters. Thanks for the chance to win.

I don't know what project I would use the fabric for but it sure is beautiful. Right now I am trying to finish up some tops. Blocks are done and I just need to put them together and get them quilted.
ReplyDeleteHello Delores...I am working on a large Log Cabin quilt right now. Hand quilting it. Lots going on in the sewing room too. Fabulous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteoooh - I`m ashamed to say that I wasn`t aware of Sew Sisters (and you can be sure I will be having a good peek to see what they have). To answer the question....does fondling count. Seriously, I would probably use the fabrics as lining in my denim purses.
ReplyDeleteFusions are one fabric i don't have any of, (surprisingly because its so very pretty). i like Sew Sisters, their prices are reasonable, especially for Canada.
ReplyDeleteThese are super useful fabrics. They'd be wonderful accents in any block!
ReplyDeleteThese fabrics might fit nicely in my mystery quilt , thanks for the chance on the great giveaway !
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about going small...perhaps a table runner. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI see filler for a scrappy pineapple quilt I have been dreaming of.
ReplyDeleteLove this fabric!! At the moment I am working on a tablerunner for my nieces birthday!! Thanks for the chance!!

What a fabulous giveaway! Those fabrics would be a great addition to any quilt! Right now I'm working on a pickle dish top and three sets of kaleidoscope stars.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I'm working on something inspired by Red Pepper Quilts "Labyrinth" pattern for my niece. Her new brother just got a quilt, so obviously she needs to be next on the list.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabric...I have a whole list of projects I need to make for Christmas gifts..this would be great, thanks!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Fusions collection of FQ's. I am working on a list of UFO's...trying to get some crossed off...summer has not been a time for sewing so hope to get back to my list soon, so I can start some new projects.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for a chance at the give-away...this is gorgeous fabric! I would incorporate into a table runner for my sister who just brought me back a fat quarter of fabric from Nova Scotia. It's cute with lobsters & other "down east" things!

I love Sew Sisters and this fabric is gorgeous, I would love to win it...
ReplyDeleteLove the Fusions Collection! They would blend very nicely with the fabrics I am using for a block-of-the-month. Thanks to Sew Sisters for the lovely give-away.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics!
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I'm making a baby quilt for my niece who is expecting her first baby next month!
They look wonderful. Unlike most 'fat quarter' types, I make dolls' clothes, not quilts. Or rather, teddy bear clothes. (For 8inch tall plush animals) And most teddies are male, of course. It's tricky finding things with suitably small but 'male' patterns. I'll check these out. Do they deliver to the UK?
ReplyDeleteCurrently finishing up a graduation quilt. Hope they like it enough to make up for the fact that it's 4 months late...
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice giveaway, thank you Dolores and Sew Sisters! My stash is still low on blenders like this, so this set would help to fill in my colour range. The fabrics will probably pop up in projects for years to come!
ReplyDeleteYay! A new blog to follow - love finding Canadian-based ones! Currently I am not working on a quilt, but on a Cinderella dress for my daughter's first trip to Disney World :)
ReplyDeleteI would use those beautiful blues in a current scrap quilt project (blues and lights). The others would patiently wait for an upcoming project, likely scrappy as well.. What a great giveaway- thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI think those fabrics would look good in a paper pieced star quilt that I am doing. Thanks for asking and thanks for sharin. mschindlerstar(at)gmail.com
ReplyDeleteNo sewing projects right now - trying to get a knitting sweater done. I need to start working on a comforter for my daughter's "remodeled" room
ReplyDeleteI find that I learn a lot about quilting by reading blogs. Where are you in Newfoundland? It is a beautiful province.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric. Not sure what I have that goes with it =)
ReplyDeleteI am currently quilting 2 quilts, an applique and a pieced.
I'm working on a medallion for round robin, using Mud Season pattern.
ReplyDeleteThank you for doing this giveaway. Wonderful colours of fabric! I am working on a surprise baby quilt for my first grandchild sshhhhhh.
