A little bit of cross stitch that was started years ago. I am trying to get rid of stuff and finish other stuff. Some fabric and panels have already left my house and nothing new has come in - well, nothing fabric related.
A little bit of embroidery.
I would love to hand quilt on my frame but I noticed that one board of a larger set is not straight - it's wonky and so I need a new one. Hopefully, I can get one soon so I can carry on. The backing fabric is already found and pressed. It just needs to be trimmed to size.
Slowly, things are getting done.

Your little cross stitch and embroidery take me back in memory to a time when my eyes were better. I used to do a lot of cross stitch, but haven't in many years. This looks very cute and colorful!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness Dolores, that cross-stitch looks great - I'd go cross-eyed trying to do that! I LOVE your embroidery, I'm looking forward to see that one done.
ReplyDeleteA little bit of this, a little bit of that, need a new it... Keeps life interesting!
ReplyDeleteHappy stitchings Dolores! 8-)
I've got things to finish up too.... sigh.... sometimes it is just awful trying to drum up enough motivation to do it...
ReplyDeleteI seem to be stuck in baking mode...I feel comfortable doing that....
but... must finish off a few things...and...get going on some of my pay it forwards as well as two little bears for Sheaffers Auction...in May...yes I know it's a ways off...but, honestly...the way I've been going...or not going at all....I better get on it...
Good luck finishing the cross stitch Dolores, I find doing cross stitch relaxing.
ReplyDeleteHappy days.
