This is what I was working on, minding my own business. After taking a couple of stitches, I pulled the thread through.
Maybe you can all see it better now. It's a knot. I tried to loosen it but it just would not budge. I don't know how on earth it came to be there. As I said, all I did was pull it through the quilt. I have to cut it and re-thread the needle. It's not a life-threatening situation but it is annoying. I will get back to it but not just now. I have other things that need to get done. See you in a bit.
P.S. what's up with Blogger now? Why did they change the way you upload photos - yet again. This time, if you do not upload right away - if you go and check another window, it doesn't click. You have to close the upload window and then click on the little icon - again. At least that's what happened to me. What a pain.
Sounds to me like a nasty case of 'gremlins in the works'. I've got them too. I pieced 3 small ohio star blocks today and they are really bad! hey ho! Maybe tomorrow will be better! :o)
ReplyDeleteOh Dolores, how frustrating, especially when you have only a few moments to do a little work on your project. I agree with Lynda - tomorrow will be better. Thanks for the welcome you sent, I appreciate it! :)

Argh - I get them too from time to time. Man, I'm in awe of your quilting - gorgeous stitches!
ReplyDeleteI upload my pics from flickr - I read somewhere, when I first started with blogger, that if you upload from your computer, eventually you run out of space to store your pics, and you have to buy an account. I prefer flickr.
Hi Dolores,
ReplyDeleteOh that is so frustrating, I have had that happen to me.
That is a lovely colour.
Hugs
Carolyn
Great hand stitching Delores! It will all be worth it when you are finished quilting it, it will be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteUgh! That is the WORST!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have all been saying it for weeks.
ReplyDeleteBlogger your not working the way we would all like you to. They would tell us, it's quicker or some such tosh :-) WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT :-) x x x
Knots... no, no knots either :-)
I hate when that happens to a quilting thread, but, it does happen to the best of us no matter how much care we take to avoid it... 8-)
ReplyDeleteSome weird things are happening with preparing posts and editing with blogger for me too... ?
