I got some fabrics together and cut them up into 2.5 inch squares, sewed them together and now I have added two more blocks to this scrappy quilt. I really do like this and have go put more fabrics together. Scraps that are solid or read as such are what I'm looking for. I'm also knitting one of those frill scarves and will post a photo once it's finished.

It's looking good, Dolores. I always like these 4 x 4 blocks. How many will you do?
ReplyDeleteI like your squares! The colours go so well together :)
ReplyDeleteLooks greaat! I'm currently making a 16 patch using batiks - who knows how it will turn out though! I might just hate it!
ReplyDeleteWorking on your scrappy quilt is a very good use of your sewing time.
ReplyDeleteI love scrappy quilts:) It's looking great.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of time. I love those 16patch blocks. And I love scrappy!
ReplyDeleteSo surprising that you weren't inspired to hem pants ;-), that never happens to me (not!). Those blocks would go well with a nice audio book.....
ReplyDeleteLooks really great, Dolores. I can understand why you chose to make some blocks instead of hemming pants - my least favourite type of sewing. My secret is to use fusible web strips to do the hemming for me. I can always repress them if they start to unstick :)
