Wednesday update

When I have some time I am putting fabrics together (scraps, really) and cutting 2.5" squares for these 16-patch blocks. I really liked the one that was at the outdoor quilt show. There is another scrap quilt that I liked too but that one will have to wait. 
I'm also adding borders on a quilt that I plan to put on the frame shortly but I will take a photo of it once the top is done.

A blogging friend, Hetty, was kind enough to send me some wonderful floral fabrics so I can...

make my bow tie quilt bigger. Pop on over for a visit. she has some lovely hexagon blocks completed.

    Scrap quilts are the best. Loved the photos of the quilt show too, always lots of inspiration to be found there.

    That's a great project to work on, Dolores, that's why I did so much cutting the other day, I always have something to pick up and work on. Great fabric from Hetty!

    I love those 16 patch blocks! But then, I love anything scrappy. Glad you posted a photo of the floral fabrics. I came across a few more flowered fabrics in my stash, but coudn't remember what I had already sent you. Haven't had time to cut anything yet, but I will soon. Thanks for linking my blog.
