I have a pattern for a full sized quilt that Eric wants but I haven't progressed in making it. This one was in response to the fact that he didn't have a quilt from me. It is a one block quilt comprised of a diamond. It's called Eric's Monet. He spent a semester in Amsterdam and since the art course was taught in English, he took it. Being enrolled in the course gave him access to the many art galleries in the area and he learned a great deal.
Of course, the idea for this came from the book "Diamond Quilts & Beyond" By Jan Krentz. I like simplicity in quilts and had never done one that was composed entirely of diamonds. I had fun choosing the fabrics and putting it all together.
Wow, brilliant Dolores. When Eric has finished with it, you know who will give it a good home :-) x x x
