Congratulations to Mark

Great news! Son number one (Mark) is the second place winner of the 2008 3-day Novel writing contest. It's a weird thing he has done for the second year in a row. Last year he was one of the twenty honourable mentions. The contest takes place - or rather the writing takes place - over the Labour day weekend. I wonder what he will write about this year? His wife (Kate) leaves and goes to a friend's cottage for the three days. This year we (his parents) brought him some microwaveable food and snacks to tide him over on the Saturday while we were out grocery shopping. We caught him as he was taking a break so we did not cut in on his writing time. He still managed to write 53,000 words.
