Well, I forgot to take a photo of the quilt that the Champagne Quilters completed last week but that was okay since we had just taken it off the frame and it wasn't bound yet. This week, it is totally complete. Ann is the one that usually takes the quilt home and does the binding for us.
Meals on Wheels has requested a quilt from us so that where this one is headed.
Here's a close-up of the quilting in the plain blocks.
Marg likes to keep busy and since she doesn't have a quilt of her own that she is working on, she has been quilting a few Linus quilts. One is bound in red.
This one is bound in green.
The previous two quilts were actually supposed to be the backing for this quilt. The guild supplied the fabrics. As you can see, Marg got three quilts out of one. All of these are hand quilted.
This is the backing she used for the Noah's Ark quilt in the previous photo.
Last week we started planning our next quilt and so, while going through some of the fabrics that we have accumulated from donations, Marg came across a couple of pre-printed panels. This one is now stretched on a frame waiting to be quilted.
And lastly, here's a queen-sized quilt that Ann completed. Purple is Ann's colour. Both she and Marg have now made the card tricks pattern and neither one is overly fond of it. I don't think I'll be trying it any time soon.
