New curtains done

I like completing things and now these cafe kitchen curtains are done and hung.

It's been a dull day and even with the lights on, the photo is darker than what I wanted. Flash didn't come on because there was more light coming from windows to the right.
One metre of cotton one-inch gingham, 60" wide, on sale at the end of the year with Fabricland's 40% off sale. The only bit of fabric I bought and it was an impulse buy at that. Now I'm wondering if I should have bought the lime green gingham instead. Oh well, these will have to do for now. I'm sure I will get used to them.

They turned out so darling, Dolores! I have red gingham in my kitchen window but I'm now looking for lace curtains, to go with the Victorian look that I'm striving for:-) xoxo

When I was little, my mom had blue, red and yellow gingham in our farmhouse. She would change the colors with her moods/seasons... You should try it! hehe

It is always so nice to have fresh and clean anything. They look very crisp and bright. I need new ones in my family room and you have spurred me on.
Thanks
